Today my levels were great. A double platelet and one unit of plasma donated.

I work for a blood bank and you are so right about platelets. They are needed all the time and with the shelf life it means you have to have a high number of regular donors to keep the supply high. I would say that those folks also need to donate whole blood every 56 days because that is needed too. Thank you for saving lives.
