Henry here with a blog post about what we did this evening. Me and mom packed our shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
Me, Roscoe, Monty and Mom, all give up a little bit of our treats so we can send a couple of shoeboxes full of goodies to children who may not get anything for Christmas.
We did one boy and one girl shoebox. Mom gets the plastic shoeboxes so the kids can use them forever. We put wash cloths, small towels, bandanas, t-shirts, school supplies and toys in each box. Mom put Kleenex! We put pencils, crayons, colored pencils and two small notebooks.
My favorite is the pink stuffed doggie! We couldn’t put a live puppy but this is pretty cute.
I also loved the balsa wood airplane some lucky boy is getting. He can dream of being a pilot some day.
This year mom is going to try to figure out how to pay for the shipping online so we can track where our boxes go.
Rescue doggies to shoebox recipients. Merry Christmas!
