My brother lives in Skyline Chile country and got me hooked on the stuff. Thankfully he keeps me well supplied with regular deliveries.
Okay. Skyline Chili Oyster Crackers are not your regular saltines. I tell you there is something about them! So I’m having some homemade beef and barley soup tonight and I open up my latest shipment of Skyline Chili Crackers and somethings not right…
I think I am paranoid!
I think these crackers are crisper and browner and just not the same!
I google it and my paranoia is confirmed!
Skyline Chili has a new oyster cracker baker. (Say that three times as fast as you can!)
Yikes, is nothing sacred?
You’re cracking me up.
I hate when they change the recipe on something I love! I feel your pain.
Thanks!
How dare you display food that cannot be found in my country! In fact, just FedEx some samples, then I’ll call it even.
You have FedEx in Canada?
Did you think we used dog sled? So last year.
Iditarod mush
I live in Cincinnati, the home of Skyline. Have you had their chili? It’s quite unique.
Yup, addicted! My brother lives right at the border or Cincinnati and Kentucky, he told me either I would love it or hate it. I love it!
Ah, me too.
I do believe nothing is sacred anymore. In the push to maximize profits, corners are cut more and more, ingredients suffer, quality suffers, containers get cheaper (have you seen how flimsy cereal boxes have become lately??), clothes don’t last nearly as long as they used to, etc. etc.
Or, are we just getting to be old fogeys like our grandparents seemed to be when we were young–bemoaning all the “radical” new ideas, products, trends, etc.? 😉
Chris
Yup those hooligans are quite annoying!
