Today’s Haiku on Wind, Henry

Henry 9 months

Colorado is having a high winds today.  Mom says its the early start of spring time (usually in March), something called in like a lion and out like a lamb.  She is hoping we will get mild weather soon.

Here is my Haiku telling you just how I feel:

  • The wind makes me bark
  • Waking me from my nightmare
  • Of chasing my tail

This Week’s Extreme Dog Treats!

Hi!  Roscoe, Monty and Henry here with a guest blog post.  What’s in the treat bin this week?

Yup those are freeze dried pig snouts.  How do they taste?  Don’t know yet…  Mom is kind of dragging her feet because she said they are kind of gross.  There are little nose hairs on them!

A good standby.  Dried dish skins, they stink so good.

And especially for Roscoe because he hates the fireworks two boxes of calming aid.

These are roasted chicken flavor and when mom opened one of the packages it smelled soooooo good!

We told mom we were all scared but she knew we just wanted a “lick”!

This Week’s Extreme Dog Treats!

This weeks extreme dog treats? Turkey tails,  lamb pizzle and wild caught cod skins.  Smelly fish skin is one of our favorites but mom sometimes passes over smelly fish skins and gets something like turkey tails…

This week we got something smelly and something boring, a bit light on the snacks this week because:

Mom decided to start researching eco-friendly toys, eco-friendly doggy deodorizing products,  and a FURminator for Roscoe!

When Roscoe was young, before we figured out he had Addison’s disease, he had no fur because of his illness, so no brushing for him because he didn’t need it! Now that he’s been on his medication for Addison’s he’s got lots of fur. But hates brushing because he never had to deal with it before.   The FURminator gets more of that loose hair off of Roscoe before he gets annoyed and whimpers for mom to go away! The stupid brush was over $70  but they just changed the packaging  and the same brush in the old packaging was almost 50% off! Yay mom way to shop!   But mom just think about how many treats you could’ve bought for $35…

Monty here with a guest post.  I got this anonymous card in the mail. No return address and no signature. I think it’s a joke but I’m a dog so I’m not sure. Help me out here! Are those green shamrocks supposed to be my spots?

I think I’m much cuter than the dog on the card…

Maybe mom will give us corned beef for dinner. I hope she doesn’t give us cabbage instead!
