Guest blog post Monty a Blizzard!

image

Hi my name is Monty and I am a guest blogger here on sanseilife.

Thank you for your support and reading my dog Haiku!

We had a blizzard yesterday here in Arvada, Colorado.  I am sure it was a blizzard because Mom came home early from work.  Roscoe and I helped her make a batch of home made dog food, yum!  We loved having the extra time with her.

Here are the pictures of Mom’s parking lot at work and the street in front of her building.  This weather prompted her boss to let her come home early.

Here is a picture of one of our cars and our yard.  A true winter wonderland.

Mom is one of the few people who loves a good snow storm so us dogs are lucky to live with her.  Here is my Haiku:

  • snowflakes bite her face
  • she romps with us in the yard
  • fearless as a dog

Today’s Haiku for Rommy

Hi, my name is Rommy.

I’m a guest blogger here on sanseilife.

My mom sends me Haiku while I wait for her at the Rainbow Bridge.

Here is one from last night:

  • anxiety rages
  • chasing happy thoughts away
  • peace, I dream of you

Furry Five on Herding Humans

image

Hi, we are the Furry Five and we are guest bloggers here on sanseilife.

We are a new pack consisting of:

Roscoe Mania

Monty Mayhem

Ranger Danger

Remmy Renegade

Buster Beatdown

Our post today is describing the trials of herding humans.  They love this activity called “hiking” but they are so clueless.  Our job is to keep them on the trail.  We were herding three humans but the male kept forging ahead.  He is a real trouble maker and we are going to have to pow-wow to discuss how to get him under control.

Wish us luck.

Invisibility, My Friend in the Wheelchair and Good Tears

Rommy sleeping

Hi, my name is Rommy and I am a guest blogger here on sanseilife.

Although I am no longer in this world my mom thinks about me a lot and I try to send her memories to remind her about the great life we had together.

I reminded mom about a friend I made one day.  Laura was in a wheelchair and was very sad.  I went right up for her so that she could pet me.

She told my mom that she was amazed that I was not afraid of her or her wheelchair.

Mom and I would occasionally go on outings with Laura.  She knew all the friendly people and cool places that didn’t mind me coming in their stores.

One day we were in a favorite store and about five people talked to Laura and asked her about her dog friend.  She was the happiest I had ever seen her.  Suddenly animated and laughing the whole afternoon.

Later she told my mom, with tears in her eyes, that she loved going places with me.  She said she used to be invisible but now when people saw me they saw her too.  I thought people tears were a sad thing but that day I learned people tears can be a good thing too.

Laura is here with me and met me at the Rainbow Bridge to welcome me.  She doesn’t need her wheelchair anymore.

Mom always tries to take a moment to smile and say hi to those invisible people and I just reminded her why.

Guest Bog Post From Monty, Quilting by Aunt Sandy

Hi, my name is Monty and I’m a guest blogger here on sanseilife.

One of my favorite topics is my Aunt Sandy’s quilting adventures.

image

Here mom didn’t think the pink squares were going to work but it was awesome.  Mom took a horrible picture so you can’t really tell how awesome it was.  Aunt Sandy is way more talented than Mom’s awful picture!

A very cute baby blanket don’t you think ?

imageThis one is so cheerful!  Sometimes Auntie Sandy makes us doggy nephews our own quilts. We keep track of the really cheerful ones so we can pester her for a new quilts when we need them!

Guest Blog Post Monty, My Human Brother’s Sock

image

Hi my name is Monty and I am a regular guest blogger here on sanseilife.   My story today?  My human brother’s sock.

I have three brothers. Rommy, Roscoe and the human aka Treat Master.

imageTreat Master visited recently and I found a sock he left behind!   There is a reason it looks like this and it’s because I’ve been carrying it around for days.

He doesn’t come often enough and he doesn’t stay long enough when he does come, I miss him terribly.

I think mom misses him too so when she saw me carrying around his sock she let me keep it because I wasn’t chewing it up. I think she understands that his scent is like perfume to my brain and it’s a wonderful wonderful feeling, almost like having him here with me!

I am hoping for Treat Master to come soon for  another visit. I know he’ll be especially pleased I didn’t chew up his sock!
