Hi! Roscoe, Monty and Henry here with a guest blog post. What’s in the treat bin this week?
Mom finally discovered bulk treats! With three big boys this is a good idea. Our favs, salmon skins, chicken feet, cow ears and beef treachea! We would really like some kind of pork treats but Mom is not sure pork fat is good for us like salmon oil…
Extreme dog treats rule, bone appetit, er bon appetit🐶!
Henry here with a guest post. I am sitting on the doggie futon in this picture.
Here I am playing with a Halloween toy, doesn’t the futon look okay?
Well Mom caught me pulling some stuffing from the doggie futon.
She said I was a warui kozo, a bad stinker or brat. I tried to tell her that the Futon Yokai was possessing me but she would have none of it.
The Futon Yokai is incredibly clever. It has possession of the doggie futon and is enjoying tormenting me. You would think it would want to protect itself. But no, it is also a warui kozo and even if I shred the doggie futon to oblivion and it loses its home it is happy if it gets me in trouble.
Bad bad Futon Yokai, I hope Mom can feel its presence soon so she’ll understand what is going on…. You believe me don’t you?
October is my birthday month. Since I am a rescue Mom does not have an exact date. I get treats and toys all month. Well this is true of months that aren’t even my birthday month.
I am one year old now and today is my last day of puppy food. Mom has been mixing it with big boy food and it is almost gone.
Hi! Roscoe, Monty and Henry here with a guest blog post and this weeks dog treats. We call these extreme dog treats. They are extras on top of our milk-bones!
Tons of dog biscuits made in the USA. Bison with apples and peaches, peanut butter and cranberries, chicken with apple and carrots, salmon with strawberries and potatoes!
Turkey feet freeze dried.
Better Belly fast digesting rawhide trests and no hide Smart Bones stuffed with peanut butter. These last ones mom watches us like a hawk to make sure we don’t have any problems with chewing them
Henry here with a guest post about my first emergency vet visit.
I am a rescue. They don’t know much about me but my dog Mom was rescued too and she definitely had a lot of Boxer in her.
Human Mom learned that Boxers had a lot of eye issues and when she got home tonite and saw my eye like this she freaked out, threw me in the car and took me to the Emergency Vet! I mean really threw me in the car!!!
Turns out no scratch on my eye, looks like a bug bite, likely a stupid wasp which Monty has taught me to chase and try to eat.
I was sweet until I got suspicious and then was a real stinker and would not let them fit me for something called the cone of shame…
They gave up and gave me a large cone of shame and wished my human Mom good luck with getting it on me 😈.
Roscoe and Monty are excited because the emergency vet prescribed Benadryl for the swelling and they think it’ll make me sleep and pester them less.
The real reason I went to the emergency vet was because I heard human Mom say it was time for me to get something called neutered which sounds horrible. Roscoe and Monty actually have been extra tolerant of me because of neutering in my future. Now Mom says I used my neutering money for an emergency and neutering will be postponed until next month which is my birthday month…. Happy birthday to me?
Our church has an area where you light a candle for your concern or celebration. The rest of the congregation doesn’t know what your candle is for, but they pray with you to honor your request.
This is a simple haiku for a fellow blogger, his partner and their companion that came to me at candle lighting today.
