I tasted a bit of these Pawbenders treats from Good Times to make sure no sugar. Just plain frozen custard (no sugar), dog biscuits (I didn’t taste these 😏) and some kind of peanut butter “caramel” sauce (no sugar). Found them appropriate treat!

Make My Day The Rescue Dogs
A big thank you to T & T (you know who you are) for the anonymous gift to the rescue dogs.
We know from first hand experience that our rescuers sometimes have trouble finding donations of food to keep us fed and healthy until we find our forever homes.
Treats are a total luxury and rescue dogs do not get these very often.
Thanks to the thoughtfulness and generosity of T & T boxes of treats (huge boxes of treats containing smaller boxes and containers) were delivered to Clear Creek Animal Hospital who shared them with the different animal rescue groups they support.
Thank you T & T for remembering us and caring!

Scarves and hats for the homeless, knitting and crochet group Feb 2015
The second meeting of the Scarves and Hats for the Homeless, Knitting and Crochet Group took place February 15th. Once again the children were the fastest learners and had the best tension control.
The group discussed other projects such as:
- Having a ton of fun!
- Prayer afghans where the members would each knit or crochet 8″ squares to be joined together for special prayer blankets.
- Knitted and crocheted stuffed animals for children.
- Holiday gifts for those in need of cheer.
- Sweaters for rescue dogs at a Jefferson County shelter.
- Mittens.
- Fun personal projects that the more experienced will help the newbies with such as shawls, purses, other items.
